Receta Chile Con Queso Dip

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 1/4 c. onion, finely minced
- 18 ounce canned whole tomatoes, drain & chop
- 4 ounce canned minced green chiles, liquid removed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 c. Monterey Jack or possibly American cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 bot Liquid Red Pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar, optional
Direcciones
- Place the butter or possibly margarine and onion in a 1-quart. microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave on full power for 2 to 3 min, or possibly till onion is tender. Add in the minced tomatoes, chiles, 1/2 tsp. sugar (if used) and salt.
- Microwave on full power 1 to 2 min more, or possibly till the cheese melts.
- Stir in the red pepper sauce. Season to taste. Transfer to chafing dish; keep hot and serve with corn or possibly taco chips.
