Receta Chili Skillet Dinner

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd chuck
- 1 c. minced green onion
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 1 lg. clove garlic, chopped
- 4 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 c. raw long grain rice
- 1 (15 ounce.) can red kidney beans, liquid removed
- 1 c. frzn whole kernel corn
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 c. sliced ripe olives
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Direcciones
- Saute/fry beef in large saucepan, stirring to break up, till meat is gray. Add in onion, green pepper and garlic. Saute/fry till limp. Stir in chili pwdr, oregano, tomato sauce and juice. Bring to boil. Add in rice. Cover and simmer about 25 min. Add in beans, corn, parsley flakes and olives, mixing well. Cook about 10 min longer. Adjust seasonings. Sprinkle cheese over top. Let stand, covered, about 5 min to heat cheese. Serve with tossed salad and warm bread. Makes 4 servings.
