  • 1/2 c. Minced onions
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Whole oregano leaves
  • 1/8 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 1/2 c. Fresh or possibly canned minced tomatoes, with juice
  • 1/3 c. Dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp Chopped chipotle chile in adobo
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced fresh cilantro

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry the onions, garlic, oregano and cinnamon in the extra virgin olive oil over moderate heat till soft. Add in the tomatoes, wine and chipotle and cook uncovered for 15 to 20 min till thickened. Stir in the cilantro.
  2. This recipe yields about 3 c. of sauce.
