  • 1 pkt (12-ounce) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 env unflavored gelatin
  • 1 Tbsp. Water
  • 2 x Large eggs, separated
  • 2 Tbsp. Brandy (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Sugar, divided
  • 2 c. Heavy cream, divided

Direcciones

  1. Line 1-1/2 qt bowl with plastic wrap; set aside. In small heavy gauge saucepan, combine Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels and lowfat milk.
  2. Stir over low heat till morsels are melted and mix is smooth. Remove from heat. In c., sprinkle gelatin over water; set aside 5 min. In 1-1/2 qt bowl, beat egg yolks. Stir in 1/4 c. chocolate mix; return to saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till slightly thickened. Add in softened gelatin; stir till dissolved. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in brandy, if you like. Transfer to large bowl; cold to room temperature. In 1-1/2 qt bowl, beat egg whites and salt till foamy.
  4. Gradually add in 2 Tbsp. sugar; beat till stiff peaks form. Fold into cooled chocolate mix. In medium bowl, beat 1 c. heavy cream till stiff; fold into chocolate mix. Pour into prepared bowl. Refrigeratetill hard. Unmold onto serving platter; remove plastic wrap. In medium bowl, combine remaining 1 c. heavy cream and remaining 2 Tbsp. sugar; beat till stiff. Fill pastry bag fitted with rosette tip; decorate mold.
  5. Makes10-12 servings.
