Receta Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  • 1/2 c. Butter, at cold room temp.
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 c. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 8 ounce Baker's German's Sweet Chocolate Or possibly
  • 8 ounce Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • 1 1/3 c. Baker's Angel Flake Coconut (optional)


  1. *Cut into large 3/8 inch chunks*
  2. Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and egg till light and fluffy. Mix flour with soda and salt. Blend this into butter mix. Stir in chcolate chunks and the coconut. Refrigerate1 hour. Drop 2 in. apart by heaping tbsp. onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 deg. for 12 to 15 min or possibly till lightly browned. Cookies will be soft in center when done. Cold 2 min before removing from sheet.
  3. Makes 2 doz. 31/2 inch cookies.*If you like, place additional chocolate chunks on top of cookies before baking.
