Receta Chocolate Mallow Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 env. Knox gelatin
- 3 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/3 c. cool water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. cream, whipped
- Baked pie shell
Direcciones
- Sprinkle gelatin on cool water in top of double boiler to soften. Place over boiling water and stir till gelatin is thoroughly dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Pour corn syrup in a large bowl of electric mixer. Add in the vanilla and gelatin mix. Beat on high speed till mix becomes thick and of soft marshmallow consistency, about 15 min.
- Heat chocolate while the mixer is beating. Be sure the chocolate cools! Mix in the melted chocolate, that must NOT be hot when added to the marshmallow mix. Mix in the whipped cream.
- Pour into a baked pie shell. Refrigerateat least 4 hrs. Serve with whipped cream.
