Receta Chocolate Mocha Cake

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 2 c. Brown sugar -- packed
- 2 x 1 ounce square unsweetened chocolate
- 2 x Egg yolks
- 1/2 c. Sour lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 c. Cake flour -- sifted
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Warm coffee -- strong
- 2 x Egg whites
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 4 c. Confectioner's sugar
- 1/4 c. Cocoa ds Salt
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla

- Cream butter; add in sugar gradually and cream till fluffy. Blend in melted chocolate. Add in unbeaten egg yolks, sour lowfat milk and vanilla; beat well. Add in sifted flour alternately withhot coffee, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into 9 x 13 pan that has been lightly oiled. Bake at 350F for 35 - 40 min. Cream 1/2 c. butter with powdered sugar, cocoa and salt. Add in 1/3 c. strong coffee and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Blend to spreading consistency. Spread on cake and sprinkle with toasted, slivered almonds.
