Receta Chocolate Orange Dessert Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 can (5-1/2 ounce) evaporated lowfat milk (not sweetened)
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 2 sqr (1 ounce) unsweetened or possibly semi-sweet chocolate (for sweeter sauce)
- 3 Tbsp. butter flavor crisco
- 1 tsp orange peel, finely grated
- 2 tsp orange-flavored liqueur or possibly 1/2 tsp orange extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Direcciones
- Combine sugar, evaporated lowfat milk and corn syrup in a 1-1/2- or possibly 2-qt saucepan. Heat to a full boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; add in chocolate and stir till smooth. Remove from heat. Blend in butter-flavored crisco, orange peel, liqueur and salt.
- Serve hot over ice cream or possibly cake.
