  1. * NOTE: If using Hershey's chocolate, increase sugar to at least 1 1/4 c..
  2. Heat chocolate in scalded lowfat milk. Mix flour, sugar and salt; gradually add in lowfat milk and chocolate. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix thickens and boils. Cook 2 min; remove from heat.
  3. Add in small amount of chocolate/lowfat milk mix to egg yolks; stir into remaining warm mix; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add in butter and vanilla; cold slightly. Pour into baked pastry shell. Cold. Cover with meringue. Bake in moderate oven, 350 deg., for 12 15 minutes.
