Receta Chocolate Rocky Road Bars Georgiastatefair 1999

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. land o lakes butter
- 1/3 c. semi-sweet real chocolate chips (we recommend nestle toll house morsels)
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts pecans or possibly peanuts
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet real chocolate chips (we recommend nestle toll house morsels)
- 2 tsp shortening

- Heat oven to 350 F. Heat butter and 1/3 c. chocolate chips in 3-qt saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, till melted (4 to 5 min). Remove from heat. Stir in all other crust ingredients till well mixed.
- Spread into greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 min or possibly till sides of bars begin to pull away from edges of pan.
- Sprinkle with marshmallows. Continue baking for 3 min.
- Combine 1/2 c. chocolate chips and shortening in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH, stirring occasionally, till melted (1 to 2 min). Drizzle bars with melted chocolate. Cold completely. Cut into bars.
- Yield: 16 bars
- A 1999 Georgia State Fair winner! A chocolate and nut crust is topped with marshmallows and drizzled with chocolate.
