Ingredientes
- 3 Tbsp. Butter plus
- 1 tsp Butter
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 3 c. Lowfat milk Freshly-grnd white pepper to taste
- 1/2 lb Maytag Blue Cheese crumbled
- 2 x Egg yolks beaten
- 1 dsh Crystal Warm Sauce Salt to taste
- 1 lb Small shells cooked till tender
- 1 c. Fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
Direcciones
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Grease a large shallow baking pan with 1 tsp. of the butter.
- In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, heat the remaining 3 Tbsp. butter. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 min. Whisk in the lowfat milk, 1/2 c. at a time. Season with white pepper. Cook, stirring constantly for 4 to 6 min. Remove from the heat and whisk in the cheese and egg yolks. Season with the warm sauce and salt if needed.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the pasta with the sauce. Pour the mix into the prepared pan. In a small mixing bowl, combine the bread crumbs and oil. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Sprinkle the pasta with the bread crumbs.
- Bake till the top is golden brown and bubbly, about 8 to 10 min. Remove from the oven and cold for about 5 min before serving.
- This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
