Ingredientes
- 2 1/2 lb boneless chuck roast trimmed
- 1 med onion minced
- 3/4 c. cola
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 x garlic cloves chopped
- 1 tsp beef bullion granules
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp chili pwdr
- 1/4 tsp grnd red pepper
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 6 x hamburger buns
Direcciones
- Combine roast and onion in a 4-qt crockpot. Combine cola and next 7 ingredients; reserve 1/2 c. in refrigerator. Pour remaining mix over roast and onion. Cover, cook on HIGH 6 hrs or possibly till roast is very tender; drain and shred roast. Keep hot.
- Combine reserved 1/2 c. cola mix, ketchup and butter in a small saucepan; cook mix over medium heat, stirring constantly, just till thoroughly heated. Pour over shredded roast, stirring gently. Spoon onto buns and serve with chips and pickle spears.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
