  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) pkg. white or possibly yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/4 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
  • 1 (21 ounce) can pie filling (apple, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry or possibly any other)

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 12x15 inch pizza pan or possibly 9x13 inch baking pan.In large bowl, using electric mixer, put together cake mix (I use Duncan Hines), oats, and 6 tbsp softened butter till crumbly. Scoop out 1 cup of these crumbs and set aside for topping.
  2. To remaining crumbs, blend in egg. Press this mix evenly into prepared pan. Bake for 12 min.
  3. Turn reserved crumbs into bowl and add in remaining 2 tbsp butter, walnuts, sugar and cinnamon; beat at low speed till well mixed.
  4. Spread pie filling on top of baked base. Sprinkle with cinnamon-crumb mix. Return to oven and bake about 20 to 25 min longer or possibly till crumbs are a light golden. Cool completely. Cut into wedges or possibly squares. Top with whipped cream or possibly ice cream. Makes 12 to 15 servings.
