Receta Coconut Cream Pie Filling

Ingredientes
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. coconut
- 4 x egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 dsh almond extract
Direcciones
- Put lowfat milk, 1/2 c. sugar, salt and coconut in double boiler and let come to near boiling point. Mix egg yolks, 1/2 c. sugar and cornstarch and add in to mix in double boiler and cook till thick. Add in butter, vanilla and almond extract. Cold and pour into baked pie shell. Pie can be frosted with whipped cream and additional coconut. Enjoy! Me ke aloha, Mary
