Receta Coconut Fluff Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 1/4 c. Sifted cake flour
- 4 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 3/4 c. Sugar
- 3/4 c. Vegetable shortening
- 1 1/8 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Almond extract
- 2/3 c. Egg whites, unbeaten
Direcciones
- Mix and sift flour, baking pwdr, salt and sugar. Add in shortening and lowfat milk.
- Beat for 2 min till batter is well blended and glossy.
- If electric mixer is used, beat at low to medium speed for same period of time. Add in vanilla, almond extract, and egg whites. Beat 2 min.
- Pour into 2 slightly greased, floured, 8-inch square layer cake pans or possibly 9-inch round layer cake pans. Bake in moderate oven (350 F) 35 to 40 min.
- Frost with fluffy white frosting. Cover with coconut.
