Receta Colonial Apple Salad

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 c. Vinegar
- 1 c. Boiling water
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 4 lrg Delicious apples
- 1/2 c. Minced celery
- 1/2 c. Minced nuts (pecans or possibly walnuts)
Direcciones
- Cream sugar, salt and egg till light and fluffy. Add in vinegar and boiling water. Cook in a 2 qt stainless steel pot till thick. This mix boils up rapidly and should be stirred frequently. When it is done it will begin to stick to the pot. Remove from heat and set aside to cold.
- Peel and chop apples, celery and nuts. Add in to the cooked dressing. Toss till the ingredients are well-coated.
