Receta Cottage Cheese And Apple Pancakes

Ingredientes
- 4 x Large eggs, separated, see note
- 1 c. Cottage cheese, lowfat
- 1 c. (packed) grated tart apple
- 3/4 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Lemon juice, or possibly more
- 1 Tbsp. Honey, optional
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Finely chopped walnuts, or possibly almonds, optional Oil or possibly butter, for frying Real maple syrup Lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt
Direcciones
- Beat the egg whites till stiff. Combine all remaining ingredients (except toppings and frying oil) in a medium-sized bowl and mix well. Mix in the egg whites. Heat oil or possibly heat butter in a skillet. When it is warm sufficient to sizzle a drop of batter on contact, add in spoonfuls of batter. Fry on both sides till hard and lightly browned. Serve right away, topped with syrup, lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt.
