  1. 1) Pour 2 c. boiling water over TVP chunks and ketchup and let stand 10 min. 2. Heat a large dutch oven. Add in extra virgin olive oil. Over medium heat saute/fry the onions, pepper and garlic a few min. Sprinkle the spices over the TVP and stir with a fork. 3. Add in the TVP to the pan and cook a few min.
  2. Stir in the beans, tomatoes and water or possibly broth. Cover and simmer 30 min to one hour. Taste and add in salt if you like. Add in the frzn corn during last 15 min.
