Receta Country Corn Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 x (12-oz) can corn
- 1 med onion, cut in large chunks
- 2 x jalapeno peppers
- 1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 2/3 c. sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 x egg
Direcciones
- In a food processor, chop corn, onion and jalapenos. Put minced vegetables into mixing bowl with cornmeal, flour, baking pwdr, salt, Cheddar cheese and butter. Mix with a spoon till blended.
- In a separate bowl, combine sweetened condensed lowfat milk, water and egg. Stir till blended; then combine with dry ingredients.
- Pour batter into greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 min.
