Receta Cranberry Pear Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Cranberries
- 2 c. Diced, peeled pears
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Orange juice
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 2 Tbsp. Corn starch
- 1/4 c. Water
- 1 c. Coarsley minced walnuts (optional)
Direcciones
- In a 3-qt pan, stir together cranberries, pears, sugar, orange juice, cinnamon and ginger. Bring mix to boil. Reduce hear and simmer, covered, about 10 min or possibly till cranberry skins pop.
- Stir together corn starch and water till smooth; stir into cranberry mix. Stirring constantly, bring mix to boil over moderate heat.
- Boil about one minute. Let stand at room temperature till slightly cold.
- Chill, covered, till chilled. Just before serving, stir in the walnuts if you're using them.
