Receta Cream Cheese Refigerator Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 x Well beaten egg
- 1 pkt (3-ounce) cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Buttermilk or possibly yogurt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 c. Sifted all-purpose flowur
- 1/8 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Double-acting baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt Sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling
Direcciones
- Blend butter, sugar and egg till creamy. Soften cream cheese slightly.
- Beat it into the butter mix with buttermilk and yogurt. Beat in flour, soda, baking pwdr and salt. After being chilled (a couple of hrs or possibly so) this dough may be rolled to paper thinness, cut into shapes and baked.
- Sprinkle before baking with sugar and cinnamon. Preheat oven to 350 and bake from 12 to 15 min.
- I modify the recipe slightly by omitting the buttermilk and doubling the cream cheese. I then drop in spoonfulls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
