Receta Creamed Asparagus Soup

Ingredientes
- 3/4 pound asparagus, simmered till tender in 2 c. water
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1 can chicken broth (15 ounce.)
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Direcciones
- Pour asparagus and liquid into blender and whirl till pureed. Heat butter in heavy saucepan, add in onion and saute/fry till tender. Stir in flour. Add in pureed asparagus, chicken broth, lowfat milk, paprika and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened. Serves 6.
