Receta Creamy Turkey Croquettes

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 2 c. finely minced, cooked turkey
- 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 3/4 c. salad oil
Direcciones
- Heat butter in a saucepan. Add in flour, onion, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper and blend. Gradually add in lowfat milk and cook over a low heat till thickened. Stir in turkey and parsley. Mix thoroughly. Pour mix into a shallow pan and refrigeratein refrigerator for several hrs. Shape mix into 6 flat croquettes. Mix beaten egg and water. Dip croquettes in bread crumbs, then egg mix. Then bread crumbs. Heat electric fry pan to 390 degrees. Add in salad oil, and fry croquettes for 3 to 4 min on each side or possibly till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Makes 6 croquettes.
