Receta Crispy Oven Fried Chicken

Ingredientes
- 12 pcs chicken, skinned & all visible fat removed
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional
- Freshly grnd black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon grnd ginger, or possibly to taste
- 1 clove garlic, crushed (optional)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 c. wheat flake cereal, lightly crushed
Direcciones
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Rinse chicken and pat dry.
- 3. Combine salt, pepper, ginger, garlic and paprika in a small bowl. Mix spices with the crushed cereal.
- 4. Place cereal in a pie plate or possibly on a piece of foil.
- 5. Brush each piece of chicken on both sides with oil, then dip in cereal crumbs pressing lightly to get an even coating on all sides.
- 6. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- 7. Bake 45-60 min or possibly till chicken is golden and tender. Timing will vary according to the thickness of the chicken pcs.
- This recipe is done with skinned, defatted chicken, vegetable oil and cereal to cut down on cholesterol.
