Receta Crunchy Caramel Apples

Ingredientes
- 4 c. Kellogg's APPLE JACKS cereal
- 6 x Wooden skewers
- 6 med Apples, rinsed, dry and stems removed
- 1/2 c. Margarine or possibly butter
- 2 Tbsp. Fat-free lowfat milk
- 1 pkt (14 ounce.) Caramels
Direcciones
- 1. Crush KELLOGG'S APPLE JACKS (to approx 2 c.) and put in shallow pan. Insert wooden skewer into each apple at the stem end. Set aside.
- 2. Place margarine, lowfat milk and caramels in small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently till caramels are melted and mix is smooth. Remove from heat.
- 3. Dip each apple into caramel mix, turning to coat proportionately. Quickly roll in crushed cereal to coat entire apple. Place on waxed paper. Refrigeratetill caramel coating is hard.
