Receta Curried Orange Rice

Ingredientes
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 med. onion, sliced thin
- 2 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. seedless raisins
- 1 bay leaf
Direcciones
- Heat butter in heavy saucepan. Saute/fry onion till soft and golden brown. Stir in curry and rice, cook 2 min longer, stirring constantly. Add in remaining ingredients, stir with fork. Bring to boiling, lower heat. Cover. Simmer 15 to 20 min till rice is tender and liquid has been absorbed. Remove bay leaf to serve. Serves 6.
