Ingredientes
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 x Large eggs -- well beaten
- 1 c. lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a rectangular baking pan. Mix and sift together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Beat in the buttermilk, then stir in the Large eggs. Add in the lowfat milk, blending quickly.
- Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for about 35 min. Serve immediately, cutting into squares at the table. The custard will rise to the top in baking.
- Yield: 6 servings.
