  1. Soften dates in boiling water. Add in all remaining ingredients.
  2. Grease and flour 9x13 cake dish. Pour ingredients into dish.
  3. I put each chocolate chip on by hand so the point of each chip is up then I sprinkle the nuts on top of chips.
  4. Cook for 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. Check with cake tester to be sure they are done.
