  1. Saute/fry onions in saucepan till limp and tender. Measure 2 Tbsp. and add in to meat with salt, pepper, bread crumbs and lowfat milk; mix thoroughly. Mix biscuit dough, adding remaining onions to flour with shortening. Roll dough into 12"x9" rectangle. Spread with hamburger mix and roll lengthwise as for jelly roll, wetting edge to seal. Cut 12 slices; place cut side up, on greased baking sheet. Bake in warm oven, 450 degrees, 20 min or possibly till done. Serve warm with green pea sauce. Make 2 c. white sauce, browning butter and adding 2 bouillon cubes. Add in 3/4 c. liquid removed cooked peas. Brown gravy or possibly cheese sauce is also good served in place of listed sauce.
