Ingredientes
- 6 piece brioche or possibly challah bread, (1/2 inch thick)
- 3 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 c. Maple syrup
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 pch cinnamon and nutmeg
- 1/2 c. Sliced almonds Seasonal fruit
- 1/4 c. Chocolate chips Powdered sugar
- 1 stk sweet butter
Direcciones
- Mix the first 6 ingredients together in a large shallow bowl. Slice the strawberries and set them aside. Heat up the skillet and put a nice amount of butter on it so it is nicely coated. Dip the bread in the lowfat milk batter and then dip it into the nuts and then dip the bread in the battter again and then put it right into the warm skillet and cook for a couple of min or possibly till it's golden then flip and repeat for all pcs, try to keep hot. Place french toast on a plate and place sliced strawberries, bananas or possibly other seasonal fruit on top. sprinkle with powdered sugar and/or possibly chocolate chips. Serve with maple syrup.
