  • 1 c. Dry tart cherries
  • 4 c. Apple
  • 1 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine Two-crust pie pastry

Direcciones

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cherries and apple slices.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, stir together sugar, flour and cinnamon. Pour over fruit mix; toss to blend. Let stand 15 min.
  4. 4. Turn fruit mix into pastry-lined 9-inch pie pan; dot with butter.
  5. Cover with top crust that has slits cut in it; seal and flute.
  6. 5. Bake in a preheated 425 degree F. oven 40 to 50 min, or possibly till edge is golden and apples are tender.
