Receta Dried Fruit Oatmeal Power Bars

Ingredientes
- 3 c. Quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 c. Finely minced dry pears
- 1/2 c. Finely minced dry cranberries
- 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1 c. Packed brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Grated lemon rind
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Corn syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Direcciones
- In large bowl, combine oats and dry fruit; set aside. In large heavy saucepan, heat butter over low heat. Stir in sugar, salt, lemon rind, corn syrup and vanilla; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and stir in oat mix. Turn into 13x9-inch baking pan; press mix to create an even layer. Bake at 350 F for 20 min. Cut into bars while still hot.
- Makes about 21 bars.
