  1. Put all ingredients (except walnuts) into a bowl and mix well. With your hand, form into a ball and roll in minced walnuts to coat completely. Cover and chill overnight. Serve with your favorite crackers. It's an easy make ahead recipe.

  3. Betty writes:I substituted finely minced walnuts for the pecans. The cheese ball was a little to rich with them.
  4. I made two cheese balls last Christmas. One with walnuts, and one without for those who are allergic to nuts. They were both gone in a flash!!
