Receta Emeril's Wedgie Salad

Ingredientes
- 1/2 lb blue cheese crumbled
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp warm sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 2 lrg heads iceberg lettuce cored, washed, and patted dry
Direcciones
- In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire, warm sauce, salt, and black pepper. Using the back of a fork, mash the mix together to create a thick paste. Drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil, stirring continuously with the fork till the mix is creamy. Add in the buttermilk and mix well. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
- Cut the heads of lettuce into 4 wedges each. Spoon about 1 c. of the dressing over each wedge. Serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
