Receta Fresh Pizza
Ingredientes
- 2 fresh pizza dough’s
- 4 vine ripe tomatoes – sliced thin
- 16 oz. mozzarella – shredded
- Grated Romano cheese
- 6 sausages – 3 hot – 3 sweet
- 1 large onion – sliced
- 1 bell pepper
- 4 cloves garlic – chopped
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ¼ tsp. dried oregano
- Corn meal for dusting
- Olive oil
Direcciones
- Heat a large frying pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Over a medium heat, add the sliced onions, peppers and chopped garlic to sauté until the onions are clear and slightly golden. Add the sausages and cook until the sausages are done. Slice the sausages when they are cooked and return them to the pan and set aside for the pizza topping.
- Preheat Oven – 375 degrees:
- Dust the pizza pan with cornmeal.
- Form the pizza dough to fit the pizza pan.
- Place in the oven for about 5 – 8 minutes to bake before putting the toppings. This will give the crust some firmness.
- Remove from the oven. Divide the slices of two of the tomatoes on each pizza. Top with the sausage and peppers, shredded mozzarella, grated cheese, a few extra dashes of seasonings and a small drizzle of olive oil.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until the crust is golden.
