Receta Frosted Christmas Butter Cookies

Ingredientes
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 c. butter or possibly margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1 c. dairy lowfat sour cream Vanilla Frosting (recipe below)
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees FSift together flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; set aside. Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy, using an electric mixer at medium speed. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after adding each one. Add in dry ingredients alternately with lowfat sour cream to creamed mix, beating well after each addition using an electric mixer at low speed.
- Drop cookie batter by rounded teaspoonfuls, about 3" apart on greased baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 min, or possibly till edges are browned. Remove from baking sheets to cold on racks. Frost with vanilla frosting. Vanilla Frosting: Combine 4 c. of sifted confectioners' sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 4 TBSP of lowfat milk in a bowl. Beat till smooth. Add in 1 more Tbsp of lowfat milk, if necessary, to make frosting easier to spread.
