Receta Frozen Biscuits

Ingredientes
- 5 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 c. shortening Two pkgs. yeast
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Direcciones
- Sift dry ingredients together, cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in hot water; add in to lowfat milk. Add in lowfat milk mix to dry ingredients and mix well. Turn dough onto floured surface and knead gently several strokes. Pat or possibly roll out to desired thickness; cut and place on greased cookie sheet and freeze. If you like, when biscuits are frzn, roll each in melted butter which has been cooled to room temperature. Place biscuits in freezer bags or possibly freezer containers. Defrost biscuits 30 min before baking; bake at 400 F till browned.
- Makes 4 to 5 dozen biscuits.
