- 6 1/4 lbs. shortening
- 3 pound sugar
- Cap of vanilla extract
- 1 pound butter
- 1 1/4 ounce salt
- Cap of lemon extract

- Cream in very large mixer at medium speed for 15 min till well creamed. Add in: 5 1/2 pound bread flour 3 pound cake flourMix 3 min at low speed. Drop on cookie sheet, make a depression in the middle and bake for 7-9 min in a 400 degree oven or possibly till very golden brown. When cooled, pipe a fudge icing star in the center of the cookie. Makes 144 cookies. A quantity recipe.
