Receta Garlic Dahl

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. Sunflower oil
- 1 lrg Onion, minced
- 4 x Garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. Grnd turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. Garam masala
- 6 x Cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 x Bay leaf
- 350 gm Orange lentils, washed
- 900 ml Vegetable stock, about
- 225 gm Fresh spinach leaves, roughly minced Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
Direcciones
- 1 Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onion for 5-6 min till golden. Stir in the garlic, turmeric, garam masala, cardamom pods and bay leaf. Fry gently for a minute till lightly toasted.
- 2 Add in the lentils with the stock and season well. Simmer for 15-20 min or possibly till the lentils are just tender, adding some more stock if necessary.
- Stir in the spinach and cook for a further five min. Serve at once.
