Receta Ginisang Ampalaya-Sitaw
Bitter gourd with string beans and egg... a must for those who have low hemoglobin. It's like enjoying a nice veggie meal while getting better :)

Ingredientes
- 1 pc med Ampalaya, cut in half - julliened
- 1 bunch String beans, cut 1-inch long
- 2 large Eggs, beaten
- 1 med onion, sliced
- 2 cloves, garlic, minced
- 3 med red tomatoes, diced
- canola oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sotanghon (Optional)
- 2 cups meat broth
Direcciones
- Saute onions, garlic, tomatoes in hot canola oil in a deep pot.
- Add the ampalaya and string beans and stir fry thoroughly to mix altogether.
- Add 1 cup of chicken/pork broth.
- Let it simmer.
- Once the vegetables are tender enough, add salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour in the beaten eggs and stir to avoid egg lumps.
- Add the sotanghon if desired.
- Simmer for a minute or two.
- Serve with steamed rice.
