Receta Glogg (Swedish Christmas Punch)

Ingredientes
- 750 ml Dry Red Wine
- 10 whl Cardamom Seeds
- 3 x Strips Fresh Orange Rind
- 5 whl Cloves
- 1 x Cinnamon Stick
- 1 c. Whole Blanched Almonds
- 1 c. Dark Seedless Raisins
- 1/2 lb Sugar Cubes
- 1 1/2 c. Aquavit
Direcciones
- Pour wine into a Dutch oven or possibly kettle. Tie cardamom seeds, orange rind, cloves, and cinnamon stick in layers of cheesecloth; add in to kettle. Cover.
- Heat slowly to boiling; simmer 10 min. Add in almonds, raisins, and sugar cubes; stir vigorously. Simmer smother 5 min, stirring often to dissolve sugar. Add in aquavit; ladle while warm into mugs with a few almonds and raisins in each.
