Receta Gomen Ethiopian Greens

Ingredientes
- 1 lb Collard greens
- 1 c. Red onions
- 4 med Green (warm) peppers, slice in strips
- 2 c. Water
- 1/2 tsp Garlic, peeled and minced
- 16 ounce Butter or possibly oil Salt, to taste
Direcciones
- Wash collard greens, boil in medium pan till soft. Remove from heat, drain and cut into small pcs. Set aside. Wash peppers, remove seeds, slice lengthwise and set aside.
- In a pan, cook onions over a low heat till brown adding a little water to prevent sticking and burning. Add in collard greens and cook till water disappears. Add in all the spices and stir gently. One at a time, add in the green pepper slices about 10 min before removing from the fire. Serve warm or possibly cool. Gomen is usually served with other foods. It may be served warm or possibly cool.
