Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 1/2 c. Pillsbury's Best All Purpose Flour*, sifted
  • 2 tsp Double-acting baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp French's Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp French's Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp French's Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp French's Grnd Cardamom (optional)
  • 3 x Large eggs, * see note
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. Raisins
  • 1 c. Funsten's Nuts, minced
  • 1/2 c. Light cream
  • 1/2 c. Funsten's Nuts, minced

Direcciones

  1. BAKE at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 min.
  2. MAKES 9 or possibly 10-inch tube cake.
  3. Sift together the flour, baking pwdr, salt , and spices. Beat Large eggs till foamy. Gradually add in sugars and continue beating till thick and ivory colored. Mix in raisins and 1 c. Funsten's nuts, minced, and half the dry ingredients till well combined. Mix in light cream, then the remaining dry ingredients. Add in the melted and cooled butter; mix in just till blended. Turn into 9 or possibly 10-inch tube pan or possibly 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan that has been generously greased and coated with 1/2 c. nuts, minced, or possibly cake crumbs. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 50 to 60 min. Cold in pan 15 min; invert on wire rack.*For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit baking pwdr and salt.
