Receta Hash Pinwheels

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 c. cool water
- 2 T shortening or possibly butter
- 1 (15 ounce) can roast beef or possibly corned beef hash
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 T butter
- 2 T Bisquick
- 1/4 teaspoon salt & dry mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 450 degrees. Mix together Bisquick, water and butter to a soft dough. Knead 5 times. Roll to a 12 x 9 inch rectangle. Spread hash evenly to 1/2 inch of edge. Sprinkle with pepper. Roll up. Cut into 1 inch slices. Place on greased pan. Bake 30 min or possibly till golden brown. Serve with cheese sauce on top.
- Heat butter over low heat. Blend Bisquick and seasonings. Cook over low heat till smooth and bubbling. Slowly whisk in lowfat milk and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir in cheese. Heat over low heat till cheese is melted. Serve over pinwheels. (My daughter loved this at pre-school and asked which I get the "directions" to make it from the cook.)
