Receta Healthy Hearty Burritos

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd chicken
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 2 1/2 c. pinto beans
- 4 c. water
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
Direcciones
- Brown and drain grnd chicken. Follow taco seasoning package directions by adding taco seasoning packet plus 3/4 to 1 c. water to grnd chicken. Simmer 15 min. Set aside. Mix water, beans, and onions in large saucepan or possibly Dutch oven. Cover and heat to boiling. Boil 2 min. Remove from heat and let stand 1 hour. Add in just sufficient water to beans to cover. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and boil gently, stirring occasionally till beans are very tender, about 1 1/2 hrs. Add in water during cooking if necessary. Mash beans, then stir in salt. Add in the seasoned grnd chicken and mix well. Place small amount of mix on flour tortilla and top with your favorite toppings! Roll up. Makes 2 large meals. May be frzn and easily reheated as a quick dinner another night!
