- 5 quart Water
- 2 lrg Onions, peeled & quartered
- 4 cl Garlic, peeled
- 4 x Celery, thickly sliced
- 4 lrg Carrots, scrubbed, thickly s
- 2 lrg Potatoes, scrubbed, coarsely
- 2 x Leeks, white parts only, was Several large sprigs fresh p
- 2 x Bay leaves
- 10 whl peppercorns
- 4 Tbsp. Soy sauce

- Preparation Time: 0:15 Place all ofthe ingredients in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer over low heat for 3 to 4 hrs. Strain the broth and throw away the vegetables.
- Freeze in 1- to 2-c. containers for use in recipes calling for vegetable stock or possibly broth.
