Receta Heavenly Key Lime Cheesecake

Ingredientes

  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 x 14-ounce. can sweetened condensed lowfat milk
  • 1 pkt unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 c. fresh key lime juice
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounce lowfat sour cream
  • 8 ounce Cold Whip
  • 1 x graham cracker pie crust, (9 inch)

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs in a medium bowl with mixer on high for 2 min. Beat 2 min on medium while adding condensed lowfat milk and unflavored gelatin.
  2. Pour mix into a saucepan and cook on low, stirring constantly till thickened. (Approximately 15 to 20 min.) Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 c. of the lime juice. Stir till smooth and thick.
  3. Let cold while you finish the next step. Whip the cream cheese, lowfat sour cream and remaining 1/4 c. of lime juice till smooth. Mix in the cold whip, then the cooked mix. Pour into a large pie crust.
  4. Garnish with lime slices if you like. Chill till set, about 2 1/2 hrs.
  5. If you cannot get fresh lime juice, you can buy it in most grocery stores. I usually double or possibly triple the recipe and make it in a 9-inch springform pan.
