Receta Herb Melba Toast

Ingredientes
- 1 (1 lb.) loaf, very thinly sliced white bread
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon sweet basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
Direcciones
- Cream butter with the caraway, basil, onion pwdr and oregano till light and fluffy.
- Spread on one side of each slice of bread with herb mix. Cut slices in half diagonally or possibly vertically.
- Place half slices, butter side up, on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees, 10-15 min or possibly till golden. Remove toast and cold on racks.
- Can substitute sesame seeds, Parmesan cheese or possibly finely minced roasted peanuts.
