Receta Herbed Spinach Tarts

Ingredientes
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 c. (4 ounce.) shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- 2-3 tbsp. water
- 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. minced spinach, cooked & well liquid removed
- 1 sm. onion, finely minced
- 3 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp. minced chives
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh basil or possibly 1 teaspoon dry basil
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Direcciones
- Mix together flour and salt; cut in butter and Cheddar cheese till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle with water while mixing lightly with a fork; form into ball. Refrigerate1 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Divide dough into 12 balls. Press each ball onto bottom and sides of greased muffin pan.
- Mix remaining ingredients till well blended. Spoon into pastry shells, filling each c.. Bake 30-35 min or possibly till crust is golden. Cold 5 min; remove from pans. Garnish with fresh herbs, if you like. Makes 1 dozen.
