Receta Grilled Chicken Skewers In A Spiced Yogurt Marinade

Ingredientes
- 4 x cloves garlic
- 1 sm onion minced
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp grnd cardamom
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1 c. plain lowfat yogurt
- 12 x boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in 1-1/2" cubes extra virgin olive oil salt
- 1 tsp fresh grnd black pepper Italian parsley minced lemon wedges
Direcciones
- Combine the garlic, onion, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, cardamom, cayenne, lemon juice, and yogurt in a blender or possibly food processor and process till combined. Place the chicken in a nonreactive bowl and toss with the marinade to coat well. Cover and chill for 4 to 6 hrs.
- Soak wooden skewers in waters for 30 min to prevent them from burning.
- Preheat the broiler or possibly grill. Thread the chicken pcs on the skewers, brush with a little extra virgin olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook 3 to 4 min per side, or possibly till opaque throughout. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
- Serves 6 generously.
